Senior Auditor position

ELLS Certified Public Accountants & Business Advisors is seeking a Senior Auditor with a minimum of 3 years experience in public accounting. The person will work closely with shareholders and managers on all phases of projects and will maintain regular contact with assigned clients, keep responsible management informed about client developments, plan and organize audits, handle all aspects of fieldwork, prepare audit reports, research complex accounting issues, study and evaluate client internal controls, and be able to supervise multiple engagements simultaneously.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Audit senior candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years of recent public accounting audit experience
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting
  • Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Leadership ability with positive team player attitude
  • Solid interpersonal/communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
  • Experience in implementing and performing engagement procedures, documentation of findings, preparation of financial statements and footnotes.

Senior Tax position

ELLS Certified Public Accountants & Business Advisors is seeking a Senior Tax team member with a minimum of 3 years experience in public accounting. The Senior Tax team member will be responsible for the preparation of individual and corporate tax returns and tax research. The Senior Tax team member will also work closely with shareholders on all phases of projects, will maintain contact with assigned clients, and keep responsible management informed about client developments. Candidate must be a self-starter and be experienced in handling multiple client assignments and deadlines.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Senior Tax candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of recent public accounting experience
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or Enrolled Agent
  • Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Leadership ability with positive team player attitude
  • Solid interpersonal/communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
  • Experience in preparation of complex individual and corporate tax returns
  • Experience in tax planning and tax research

Experienced Tax Reviewer – seasonal position

ELLS Certified Public Accountants & Business Advisors is seeking a seasonal experienced tax reviewer to review tax returns beginning in January through April 15, 2009. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in public accounting. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing a high volume of complex individual and corporate income tax returns.
